Advancing Strategic Collaboration With BOI On the sidelines of the ongoing World Bank Group/ IMF Spring Meetings, Afreximbank hosted a strategic meeting with a high-level delegation from Nigeria’s Bank of Industry (BOI), led by its MD/CEO, Dr. Olasupo Olusi and Afreximbank’s Executive Vice Presidents, Dr. George Elombi and Mr. Haytham El Maayergi. Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration in financing and guarantee solutions to catalyse private sector growth and trade across Africa, investment opportunities to support industrialisation, SME growth, and healthcare development BOI’s interest in supporting the African Medical Centre of Excellence (AMCE) in Abuja. Engagements also extended to collaborative opportunities at the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2025), the Afreximbank Annual Meeting (AAM2025), and a renewed invitation for BOI to actively participate in the annual capacity-building programme for African bankers, scheduled for November 2025 in Abidjan.
